Our first outing is to nephew Nolan's baccalaureate, and then graduation the next day. He now has a bachelor's degree in Physics and will start a Masters in Architecture at UNL this summer.
Sad news, Cathy's cousin Scott passed away in Salt Lake City, so Cathy drives herself and her parents for the viewing and funeral. They are able to see Scott's grandson, Kamas, who cheered us all up. What a cutie!Right after Cathy gets back, our computer crashes. Diagnosis is mother board or processor, either one costs more to repair than a new computer. Spend a couple of days without, while Geeks download from one hard drive to the other.

We have a great time having campfires here! Steve's brother brings two truckloads of wood, and then our camp neighbor brings over some construction scrap for us to burn also!!!
Next thing we know, it is time for Steve and friends Duane, Steve, and Gerard to head for Minnesota and the boundary waters for their canoe trip.
