Tallahassee is fun. We started out our time here by giving blood. They sure wanted to reward us for giving while we travel...we received a beach bag, key tags, tee shirts and drink coasters!

The next day we toured the state capitols.. both the old and the new, which are right next to each other. We also toured the Florida State Historical Museum, where we saw the mastodon "Herman".

We then got in touch with friends Paul and Paula (we met them in Polson, MT in 2010). We were able to look at a Frank Lloyd Wright house (it wasn't kept up), had dinner at the Front Porch (great seafood), and toured some Christmas lights, including a house that broadcast music with lights that blinked to it. Great!!

Steve took a tour of the Automobile Museum and had a great time.

We also toured the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge also, and had a great time. This is the place that is breeding whooping cranes and teaching them to fly with gliders.
