Dottie LOVES Sunshine!! |

Sunset from our site. |
This is a camping club resort, and has a lot of pull-thru sites. We are right on the lake, and the only disadvantage to that is the early morning duck hunters! This place even has a cafe that is open from 7 to 7. What a deal for a woman without a microwave!

Little River Falls |
We took a scenic tour on the Lookout Mountain Scenic Parkway. We stopped at the Little River Canyon National Preserve, so Cathy could get her Park Passport stamped. Beautiful scenery, but probably better looking when the trees had leaves! Stopped in Fort Payne at the Main Street Deli for lunch, and Steve got to play foos-ball! He was told he still had game!

View from the Guntersville Park Lodge |
We toured the Lake Guntersville State Park, which has a huge lodge, campgrounds, and a beautiful view of the Tennessee River. When we came back to the park, we participated in the dirty Santa gift exchange. The next morning, Steve went to the Church service in the park. Steve spoke to a visiting Lutheran couple on the way back to the camper, and they all decided that the Baptist service was way more "emotional" than the Lutherans or Methodists.

Do you remember where you were this day? |
Our last day was spent at the Huntsville Space and Rocket Center! Dr. Werner von Braun spent a lot of time here after WW2, developing the rockets that would lead us unto space! Very, very educational!!
