3/25-3/28-River's End Campground, Tybee Island, GA

This is the park we should have been at all week!  Nathan gets to help us move camp.  He is surprised by all the details!

Nathan at Fort Pulaski

Musket shooting

We visit Fort Pulaski, Hilton Head Island and the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge all in one day!

Fort Pulaski was bombarded by rifled cannons during the Civil War, and ended the era of fortifications impregable to cannon fire.  Very interesting.

Hilton Head was interesting and we had a great lunch of philly cheese steaks at Harolds!

The refuge was fun, and we got to see a lot of birds.

Steve and Nathan took another trip to River Street downtown while Cathy had a day off.
Nathan contemplates piracy

He really is.
