Gammage Auditorium

We also toured the Gammage Auditorium, and got a tour from one of the ASU Students.  This venue seats 3500 and was showing Mamma Mia! tonight.  Too bad we couldn't stay for the show.

we get to tour this one!
At one of the homes we saw, the owner invited us in for a look!!  Very cool.  This house was designed for a single person, but it has 3 bathrooms!  The original owner had a maid and chauffeur living there with her, and they had their own rooms.  The walls for the maid's room have been removed, which makes for a larger living room.  The master bedroom is in the vaulted area in the back of this picture.

Here are more architecture pictures:
The David Wright Home
Not Frank, but cool anyway!

The day does not end well for Cathy.  On our walk, she trips and falls, bruising both knees, scraping both palms, and scratching her glasses.  At least she got an extra day in this time!  Last year, this same thing happened on January 2nd!

4th:  We go out to eat with Elaine/Jim and Martha/Rich at the fabulous Organ Pipe Pizza!  This place is way cool.  The entertainment is provided by a mighty Wurlitzer pipe organ!  This one was built for the Denver Theatre in 1927, and has 6000 pipes!  Fabulous music, even Michael Jackson's Thriller!

5th:  Steve takes a hike in the Usury Mountains.  7 miles around the mountain.  Then out to dinner at Los Gringos Locos with Jim and Sandie.  Great quesadillas!
