3/29-4/9 - The Oaks at Point South, Yemmessee, SC

This is a Thousand Trails park next to a couple of large ponds.  Although there were no gnats when we got there, by the time we left they were out in full force.  We actually saw a small alligator in one of the ponds while we were walking.

We took a drive to Beaufort, which is very close and very scenic!
Beautiful Wisteria

Steve took in one of the National Cemetaries and the Marine Museum.

We also took a trip to Hunting Island to see the lighthouse.

Turtles!

On another trip, we saw a plantation/ranch that was designed and built by Frank Lloyd Wright!  It is still a working ranch.
