8/25-8/29 Augusta West Lakeside Resort Kampground, Winthrop, ME

We dried out enough to move, and then it rained again.  However, we did get over to see the State House and the Blaine House, which is the Governor's Mansion.  We got a personal tour of the Blaine House, even though it wasn't open that day.  The caretakers saw us walking around, and invited us in!  Cool.

We also saw old Fort Western, and Steve also toured the Maine State Museum.

We were also able to see a benefit show of the Royal Lipazzaner Stallions.  It was great, but the pictures didn't turn out as well as I had hoped.  We were facing the opening in the barn, and as the show progressed, we could see deer running back and forth in the background.
