3/25-4/1 Verde Valley RV Resort, Cottonwood, AZ

This is one of the Encore membership Parks.  We attended an investment seminar and a SkyMed presentation (due mostly to the free food and drinks provided, I think).

One day we toured the nearby Out of Africa safari.  Cathy fed the giraffe and camel some carrots! (out of her mouth,  OOOOO, look at that giraffe tongue!)

Cathy got to hold an ostrich egg; and she made Steve touch the big snake!!  The animals are very close to their trainers/keepers (physically AND emotionally).  The white tiger was doing the pool show.  They blew up rubber animals and pulled them into the water.  The tiger pounced and had a good time.  If  they wanted him to go to another toy, they had to deflate the one he had, 'cause tigers will only trade toys, not abandon one that still has some fun left!!

One day we went to the Toozigoot National Monument and then rode the Verde Canyon Railroad.  Saw a lot of pretty country.

The next day was a touring extravaganza!!!  We went to Montezuma Castle National Monument, Montezuma Well, Walnut Canyon National Monument, Sunset Crater National Monument, Wapauki National Monument, Painted Vista, and Oak Creek Canyon on the way to Sedona.
The church in Sedona was built into the side of a hill.  We didn't tour because our big truck didn't fit into the parking lot!
